Despite supply chain issues, Certified Angus Beef is reporting its second-best sales year.
Total sales in the fiscal year 2022 hit 1.23 billion pounds, which is up 1.6 percent from last year. The brand’s 2019 record was slightly higher at 1.25 billion pounds sold.
The report also found 1.7 percent more cattle meet the Angus-type live cattle requirement accounting for 70 percent of steers and heifers.
