Cold Front Ahead: The urgency to get crops out of the field for the Plains and Midwest

Harvest is in full swing, but frost and freezes could be in the near future.

The Corn Belt ended September with summer heat, but a cold front is expected for the region through the rest of the week. The coldest temperatures are expected tomorrow, and frost risks are at play for both the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest.

WeatherTrends360 expects harvest to continue at a healthy pace, but the cooler weather will increase the urgency to get crops out of the field.

Ryan Mottinger out of Chesterton, Indiana is getting in the fields! He shared this harvest picture with us as the farm kicks off the season. This will be Keith and Jan Meyers 50th harvest season, and they are wishing everyone a great harvest here in the U.S. and in Canada.
