Yesterday, the daughter of the late Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away at the age of 54. She was hospitalized earlier that day after EMTs responded to a possible cardiac arrest. She was put on life support with a temporary pacemaker in the Intensive Care Unit.

She did not shy away from the country music world. In 2012, she attended the CMA Awards and CMT Awards and later made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry on August 21, 2012. She performed her song “Storm of Nails” from her album Storm & Grace.

Though she did not have a country single, the album was said to be a country album. It was also her last.

Country music stars and others are honoring her death on social media.
