Amelia County, Va. (Real Virginia) — As National Dairy Month continues, Virginia dairy producers are embracing robotic milking technology to improve efficiency on the farm.
Virginia Farm Bureau recently highlighted two family dairies that have adopted robotic milkers, allowing cows to be milked throughout the day instead of following a traditional milk production routine.
The farmers say the technology has given them more flexibility in their daily operations while helping improve cow comfort.
