Today, Kentucky-bred heartland troubadour Dillon Carmichael shares “Drinkin’ Problems” via Riser House Records. The song is a lighthearted reprieve for life’s struggles that comes just in time for the summer.
The carefree track was written by Luke Combs alongside Thomas Archer (Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean), Ray Fulcher (Zac Brown Band, Riley Green) and Erik Dylan (Trisha Yearwood, Terri Clark). With some tongue-in-cheek wordplay, Carmichael cracks open a cold one to unwind from the stress of work, the frustration of sitting in traffic, bothersome ex-lovers and more.
“Drinkin’ Problems” marks Carmichael’s first release since sharing the deluxe edition of his fan-favorite sophomore album ‘Son Of A’ (10.22 via Riser House Records). He gave fans a sneak peek of the track at his set on the Chevy Vibes Stage at last week’s CMA Fest, as well as an acoustic performance of the song on the Silverbelly Stage at AJ’s Good Time Bar. The song serves as a preview for more new music to come from Carmichael this year.
