Farmer on Mexico Corn Ban: We need to hold their feet to the fire

An Illinois corn farmer says he wants U.S. ag leaders to hold Mexico’s “feet to the fire” saying an agreement is an agreement. Matt Rush is glad to see action taken through a dispute under the USMCA agreement.

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says Mexico’s decree is not founded in science and the U.S. Trade Representative will send a strong message to the world about the safety of biotech products.

Rush says he is encouraged by recent action but says it is crucial for that market to remain open.
