Goats to the Rescue: How a herd is helping clear vegetation in TN

We have told you about goats helping to prevent wildfires out West. Now they are here in Tennessee to help clear vegetation!

Enviro Goat LLC is providing the herd of nearly 100 goats this weekend to the Kingsport area. The goats are in charge of getting rid of the invasive plant, kudzu, on properties planned for future development.

The group says this strategy is environmentally-friendly compared to using chemicals or risking employees’ safety due to steep hillsides.
