Nashville, Tenn. (January 12, 2024) — Curb Records recording artist Hannah Ellis kicks off 2024 by releasing her highly-anticipated debut album, That Girl. After writing hits for other artists and consistently dropping new songs of her own, Ellis’ full-length album is available everywhere today (1/12).
Revealing the Kentucky native to be an open book, That Girl boasts 13 original tracks all co-penned by the in-demand lyricist. From the clever wordplay of current radio single “Wine Country” and fan favorite “Karma on the Rocks” to the raw vulnerability of breakup confessional “Someone Else’s Heartbreak” and album closer “Too Much and Not Enough,” Ellis’ first full-length record reveals a seasoned songwriter fully embracing her small-town roots, her real-life romance, and her well-honed artistic voice on every level. The “Country Can” singer realizes a lifelong dream with the seminal recording.
“They say you spend your whole life writing for your first record, and I think that’s true,” Ellis says of the career-defining collection. “I cannot wait to share these songs with you.”
Ellis will celebrate the release of That Girl by returning to the iconic Opry circle, alongside revered Opry member Crystal Gayle and others, on 1/20. She will perform at the 2024 C2C festival in Berlin, Germany on 3/2 and 3/3, as well as in Cologne, Germany on 3/5 and Munich, Germany on 3/6.
