Veterinarians with Boehringer-Ingelheim say the weather has been harsh over the last few years, and preventative health measures, like controlling parasites, are key. They say no new drugs are on the market, so combination treatments will be the best route to prevent resistance.
They suggest regular diagnostic testing, pasture management, and using the right amount of dosing.
