HIGHLIGHTS: Heritage Cup, Elimination Match 1

Keith Carson and Luke Clausen of Team Fishing Clash were an unstoppable force in the first Elimination Match of the Heritage Cup, grabbing the lead early in the day and never letting go.

MINOCQUA, Wis. (Major League Fishing) — Check out some of the livestream highlights from Elimination Match 1 of Knighten Industries Heritage Cup Presented by Bass Boat Technologies, the second of four events in the second year of the Fishing Clash Team Series.

Keith Carson and Luke Clausen of Team Fishing Clash were an unstoppable force, grabbing the lead early in the day and never letting go. They went on to finish more than 15 pounds ahead of the competition with 45 pounds, 2 ounces on 29 scorable bass. Meanwhile, tensions were high along the elimination line, but Nick LeBrun and Marty Robinson of Team Ferguson prevailed with 29-4 on 18 scorable bass.

Team Lucas Oil (James Elam and Gerald Spohrer) came close to making the cut with their 18 scorable bass weighing 24-0, and Team YETI (Jeff Sprague and Bryan Thrift) put up a good fight with 12 scorable bass weighing 17-9.

Heritage Cup action continues tomorrow with a new fleet of four teams hitting the water on the RFD-TV Now Livestream from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT at MajorLeagueFishing.com. RFD-TV will air the entire opening day of the Challenge Cup live, as well as the final period of each of the following competition days (1-4 p.m.).
