(Major League Fishing) — It was a two-horse race between Team Lucas Oil’s Drew Gill and Marshall Robinson and Team Ferguson’s Justin Lucas and Brent Ehrler, as they duked it out for first place and a spot in the first match in the Knockout Round of the MLF Team Series Summit Cup. An eventful Period 3 concluded with Lucas Oil atop SCORETRACKER® with 62 pounds even on 27 scorable bass, with Team Ferguson close behind with 59-1 on 34 scorable bass.
Meanwhile, Team BUBBA (Wesley Strader and Brent Chapman) and Team Smokey Mountain Caffeinated Pouches (Britt Myers and Terry Scroggins) were evenly matched as they finished third and fourth, respectively, with 25-10 on 12 scorable bass and 22-9 on 10 scorable bass.
