There is an ongoing fight over water rights happening in Idaho.
State ranchers are suing the federal government over whether agencies can, or should, hold stock-water rights. Ranchers say that the Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service should not hold the rights because they do not own the animals.
This stems from continued arguments over water in the Snake River Basin.
