Idaho Reclaims World Record by Serving 1,400 Pounds of French Fries

Boise Potato Days reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the largest serving of french fries.

BOISE, Idaho (RFD-TV) — Idaho has reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the largest serving of french fries.

During Boise Potato Days, organizers turned 1,700 pounds of Idaho potatoes into more than 1,400 pounds of fresh-cut fries.

About 50 workers used six fryers to prepare the record-breaking serving, surpassing a record set in India in 2018.

Once the record-breaking batch was officially weighed, festivalgoers got to dig in for free.
