Indonesia will lift its palm oil export ban

The markets will be reacting today to the news that Indonesia is lifting its palm oil export ban.

Sales will resume Monday, even though prices have not reached the government’s target.

Indonesia’s president said he was considering the welfare of 17 million palm industry workers.

Last month’s decision rocked the global markets and sparked further fears of food shortages around the world.
