Iowa State unveils nation’s first facility focused solely on turkey production

Iowa State University opened the first facility in the nation solely focused on turkey production.

The teaching and research facility will allow students to learn a modern approach to the industry. It was made possible through private donations, including from Tyson Foods.

Iowa’s turkey industry is one of the largest in the U.S.
