Mo Pitney, one of the most revered voices in country music, stopped by Roy Rogers studio!

Mo Pitney has pretty much made every “one to watch list” from Rolling Stone to Billboard. There is no denying this Illinois-born artist is heavily influenced by the traditional artists who came before him.

His latest album is the critically-acclaimed Ain’t Lookin’ Back, which features the bluegrass song, “Old Home Place,” starring his all-star band.

He spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about the inspiration behind his new single, how the lyrics of the song came to be, and his family.
