More Is Needed: U.S. Cattlemen’s Association weighs in Brazilian beef imports and biosecurity

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack recently wrote to his counterpart in Brazil underscoring concerns regarding the country’s animal disease reporting, particularly related to BSE detection.

While it is a welcome move for U.S. cattle producers, some say that more needs to be done.

President of the U.S. Cattleman’s Association, Justin Tupper spoke with RFD-TV on what they are calling for, halting Brazilian beef imports, and what they are looking for moving forward.
