NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD News) — The Nashville Fair is returning to Music City this month, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with the theme “Fun for the Whole Country!”
Longtime fair advocate and comedian Steve Hall, better known as “Buckshot Red,” joined us on Thursday’s Market Day Report to preview this year’s event.
Hall said agricultural education remains a major focus of the fair, giving families a chance to learn more about livestock and where their food comes from. This year, the American Black Hereford Association will also bring its national event to Nashville.
The Nashville Fair runs Sept. 11-20.
