WASHINGTON, D.C. (RFD NEWS) — Today marks Give FFA Day, a nationwide effort inviting supporters from across the country to invest in the next generation of agricultural leaders. The annual day of giving brings together students, alumni, educators, and advocates to support leadership development, career readiness, and hands-on learning opportunities through the National FFA Organization.

Scott Stump, CEO of the National FFA Organization, joined us on Thursday’s Market Day Report to kick off the celebration and highlight why Give FFA Day plays such a critical role in the organization’s mission. Stump emphasized the excitement of seeing members and supporters unite around a shared goal of strengthening agricultural education nationwide.

He explained that donations raised through Give FFA Day directly support students by funding leadership conferences, career development events, scholarships, and classroom resources that help members showcase their skills and prepare for future careers in agriculture and beyond.

This year’s fundraising goal is $1.75 million—the most ambitious target to date. Stump encouraged viewers to get involved by giving online, sharing the message on social media, and celebrating the impact FFA has on students and communities across rural and urban America alike.
