A settlement over the aerial gunning of feral cattle over the areal gunning of feral cattle.
The New Mexico Cattle Growers Association and the USDA reached an agreement that the U.S. Forest Service must give at least 75 days notice to ranchers before an aerial killing is done over the next three years.
That makes local stakeholders part of the decision-making process.
