BARNESVILLE, Ga. (Farm Monitor) — Mae’s on the Corner at Rainbow Farms has grown from a front-yard pop-up into a popular destination for locally grown food.
Owner Allie Andrews says the stand has expanded alongside the family’s farm and become a way to share what they grow with the community. She also hopes involving her children in the business will help prepare the next generation of farmers.
Mae’s on the Corner is one of more than 100 members of Georgia Farm Bureau’s Certified Farm Market Program, which connects consumers directly with local farms across the state.
