ATLANTA, Ga. (Farm Monitor) —Technology is taking some of the financial workload off farmers through a program designed specifically for agriculture.
Good Agriculture uses automated financial management to help producers better understand their expenses and profitability. Founder and CEO Alex Locklear says finances emerged as a top concern when the company asked farmers where they needed help.
The company serves operations of different sizes and has expanded its offerings to include tax filing. Payroll management and bill pay are also planned.
Good Agriculture is now a national finalist for the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Ag Innovation Challenge.
