SBA discusses the impact of cybersecurity threats on farmers & small businesses

With ransomware and other cybersecurity threats on the rise, the U.S. Small Business Association wants to help bolster the resources available to farmers and other rural Americans who operate small businesses.

With ransomware attacks on the rise, cybersecurity has become a big focus across the ag sector -- not just for the supply chain as a whole, but also for individual farms and small businesses.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Regional Administrator Allen Thomas joined us Thursday on the Market Day for a closer look. In an interview with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender, Thomas discussed the impact of cybersecurity breaches on small businesses, and how the SBA can assist small business owners, farmers, and entrepreneurs across in Rural America to bolster their cybersecurity initiatives.
