Smoke exposure task force looks to define smoke taint in wine grapes

Where there is drought, there is usually fire. Where there is fire, there is smoke.

This is a major concern for wine grape growers in the West.

California Ag Net explains how a task force hopes to more clearly-define smoke taint in these grapes.

John says he believes it will require about five years of work before the task force can create a clearly-defined industry standard.
