HATTON, N.D. (RFD News) — The annual Spring Wheat Tour entered its final day as scouts continued evaluating fields across North Dakota for potential crop pressures and yield estimates.
Dr. Sean Finnie with the Wheat Quality Council joined us on Thursday’s Market Day Report with an update from the road.
Finnie said crop conditions have largely met expectations so far, though hot weather in the coming weeks remains the biggest question before harvest.
He added the tour will likely make about 150 field stops, with the data later compiled and published for producers and the industry.
