Iowa Detects Another Avian Influenza Case in Commercial Turkey Flock

Another case of High Pathogenic Avian Influenza has been detected in a commercial turkey flock in Iowa.

It’s the second case in a commercial flock. Ag Secretary Mike Naig says they’re working closely with USDA and producers to trace back, control and eradicate the disease from the state. He encouraged owners and producers to practice good biosecurity and to report sick birds to the state.
