Expert weighs in on Louisiana court halting meat labeling law

Louisiana court recently halted enforcement of a meat labeling law. A judge ruled it violates free speech because it prohibited plant-based meat products from using terms like “burger” and “sausage”.

Roger McEowen with the Washburn School of Law spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on the case, what the rule means for the industries, and if there will be an appeal.
