The group released public policy priorities for the year including economic growth and competitiveness, transportation and infrastructure, environment, safety and support, Farm Bill reauthorization, permitting and registration, and innovation.
TFI hopes to work closely with the Biden Administration and lawmakers to make them a reality. It is also calling for changes like reforms to the National Environmental Policy Act, calling it convoluted, time-consuming, and expensive. On the Farm Bill, TFI says it is all about conservation and a continued push for science-backed 4R nutrient stewardship adoption. The group also wants less hurdles for the use of bio-stimulants.
