The President’s team is confident that the “Big, Beautiful Bill” will pass quickly before July 4th deadline

Senate lawmakers believe that they are still on track to meet next week’s deadline of the “Big, Beautiful Bill,” but there is still a lot of work to get done.

Talks last evening centered around Medicaid and how to make cuts to the program without hurting rural hospitals. Despite the late evening debates, the President’s team remains confident.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters that he believes the Senate version will quickly pass the House when it is returned.
