Tractor Supply Supports The Next Generation in Agriculture with 4-H Paper Clover Campaign

Tractor Supply’s Paper Clover Campaign raises millions of dollars each year for 4-H youth programs and scholarships. Local store community marketing manager Lexie Gamble joined Tuesday’s Market Day Report alongside 4-H student Matthew Rochford to discuss the partnership.

NASHVILLE, TENN. (RFD News) — Tractor Supply Company is continuing its efforts to support the next generation of agriculture through its Paper Clover Campaign. The fundraiser has raised more than $26 million nationwide, with proceeds helping fund scholarships and agricultural programming for youth.

Local store community marketing manager Lexie Gamble joined Tuesday’s Market Day Report alongside 4-H student Matthew Rochford to discuss the partnership.

Tractor Supply Company began working with 4-H in 2010 and has since helped send more than 100,000 students to summer camp.

Alongside the fundraiser is the company’s “Demo Days” event, which gives communities a chance to get involved.

“Demo Days is a super fun, family-friendly event where we set up obstacle courses right in our front parking lot and invite the community to come out and test drive zero-turn mowers and other equipment,” Gamble said.

With the Paper Clover Campaign overlapping with Demo Days, 4-H will also be on site to answer questions and connect with attendees.

Rochford says he has experienced the program’s impact firsthand and credits 4-H with helping shape his future.

“4-H has really pushed me and motivated me to be the best person that I can be. It’s really helped me develop certain skills like public speaking and working hard to build my company,” Rochford said. “I’ve met people from across Tennessee and the country, and it’s really been such a blessing to be a part of this amazing program.”

The Paper Clover Campaign launches Friday, April 17, and runs through May 3.
