The twenty-seventh annual Red Steagall “Cowboy Gathering and Western Swing Festival” occurred October 27 – 29, 2017. The event kicked off with a chuckwagon train that left Jacksboro, TX, on Sunday, October 22, and passed through Perrin, Mineral Wells, Weatherford, and Azle on its way to the Fort Worth Stockyards, where it arrived on Thursday, October 26th.

The following weekend was full of cowboy camp, western living, and cowboy poetry. Be sure to watch through the end of the video for a touching gesture from a group of children honoring our nation during the National Anthem.

Our very own Pam Minick of “Gentle Giants” and “The American Rancher” takes us behind-the-scenes of the weekend festivities and the nightly rodeo ... including a patriotic rendition of the National anthem from the tiniest cowboys and cowgirls in Texas. WATCH the home video of their performance in the video above. Tune in to “Red Stegall West of Wall Street” Mondays at 9:30 PM ET on RFD Network. Get the full schedule here.
