True Show Ring Etiquette: One showman lends a helping hand to a fellow competitor

Showing cattle is more than ribbons and banners, it is about sharing a love for cattle and helping others when it is needed.

Currently, the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is underway, and during the Junior livestock show, a fellow competitor reached out for a helping hand.

Lisa Fullwood posted a story on Facebook saying, “not sure who the young lady is in this pretty pink jacket. But she has been amazing to the little girl beside her. The little girl’s red steer got loose and it took a while to catch him. Other calves got loose at times and the sparkle coat girl would reach over and help hold and calm the red steer. Even when the judge was looking at her steer, she made sure the little girl’s steer was secured. Young lady, great job! What an inspiration!”

She later shared that the showman in the pink jacket was Eryn Broadus from Douglass, Texas.
