Willie Nelson is a country music legend and when he is not making hits, he is rescuing horses.
He rescued 70 horses from a slaughter house and they now roam free on his Texas ranch. He says that his horses are the luckiest ones in the world because they get hand-fed twice a day and they are just all-around happy horses.
Nelson has also written a letter to the U.S. Senate asking them to ban the slaughter of horses in America.
