HPAI has been confirmed in Wisconsin. The case was found in a commercial poultry flock in Jefferson County.
This puts the virus closer to Minnesota, which lost nearly its entire flock in the 2015 outbreak.
Kevin Hoffman with the Wisconsin Dept. of Ag spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexader on response methods, the threat to poultry producers, and what farmers need to keep in mind.
