Around 1,100 people dressed up like Dolly Parton in Listowel, Ireland, and gathered in Frank Sheehy Park so the town could hopefully hold a world record for “Most People Dressed as a Country Music Icon in One Place.”
The sea of people dressed in their best Dolly attire to celebrate “Dolly Day,” which helped two charities, Kerry Hospice and Comfort for Chemo Kerry, according to Whiskey Riff.
The thousands of Dolly impersonators sang “9 to 5,” and will not know if they broke the record for eight to 12 weeks.
