LONGMONT, Colo. (RFD News) — More than 100 years after getting its start, Blue Sky Farms continues to build on its family legacy through genetics, animal care and registered Holsteins.
Now led by the sixth generation of the Docheff family, the operation has grown from about 65 cows to roughly 700 while continuing to invest in herd genetics and dairy production.
The family also welcomes visitors to the farm, saying tours help consumers better understand modern dairy farming and the role family-owned dairies continue to play in agriculture.
