MILWAUKEE, Wis. (RFD News) — Farm equipment sales remain in a slump across both the United States and Canada, according to the latest report from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
The report shows U.S. tractor sales fell more than 18 percent in June compared to the same month last year. Year-to-date, tractor sales are down 14 percent, while combine sales have declined 11 percent through the first six months of the year.
Canada also posted weaker sales. Tractor sales fell 13 percent in June from a year ago, while combine sales dropped 56 percent.
