NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD News) — Tennessee 4-H Roundup has been bringing together high school members from across the state since 1923, offering a week of competition, leadership development and scholarship opportunities.
Tennessee 4-H members Calleigh Phillips and Hadassah Boyle joined us on Monday’s Market Day Report to discuss what the annual event has meant to them.
In their conversation with RFD News, Phillips said 4-H has helped her grow as a public speaker and advocate for agriculture, while Boyle said the program inspired her to pursue a career in agricultural marketing and communications after graduating high school.
Both encouraged students to give 4-H a try, saying the program offers opportunities for every interest and helps young people discover where they belong.
