For the first time, scientists have tracked the movement of a wild bird known to be infected with High Pathogenic Avian Influenza in North America. The study aims to help improve estimates of when and where the virus could spread moving forward.
Diann Prosser with the U.S. Geological Survey spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about how the study works, what the findings are, and if she believes this will help improve the estimates of when and where the virus could spread.
