Hemp could soon be used as livestock feed.
A key panel at the Association of American Feed Control has tentatively approved its use for laying hens. The decision still has to go before the Board and members, but the Hemp Feed Coalition called this a milestone on the path to federal approval.
AAFCO’s Executive Director expects it to be on the agenda at the annual meeting in August.
