Justin Wilson’s Shrimp and Macaroni Casserole features bold, Cajun spice and big flavors—you’ll love this easy, crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds of macaroni
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 pounds of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons of Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1- 16 oz. bottle of mild Picante sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the macaroni, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, olive oil, and cayenne, and boil until tender according to the package directions (about 8-10 minutes).
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Drain the pasta.
  3. Mix the macaroni, shrimp, hot sauce, and Picante sauce together and pour into a casserole dish.
  4. Cook at 350°F for one hour.
