BATON ROUGE, La. (TWILA) — Mental Health Awareness Month may be over, but Louisiana Farm Bureau says supporting farmers’ mental health is a year-round effort.
During this week’s edition of This Week in Louisiana Agriculture, members discussed the pressures farmers face both on and off the farm and encouraged producers to reach out for support before stress turns into a crisis.
Anyone struggling with their mental health or concerned about someone else can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
