Louisiana YF&R Award Finalist Rebuilds His Operation from the Ground Up

Wyatt Bolding’s perseverance has earned him a spot as one of three finalists for Louisiana Farm Bureau’s 2026 Achievement Award.

OAK GROVE, La. (TWILA) — Farming requires patience, perseverance and faith — and Louisiana farmer Wyatt Bolding says he has had to rely on all three while continuing to grow his operation.

Starting with just 100 acres of neglected farmland, Bolding has grown the operation to 500 acres.

Bolding’s dedication to agriculture has earned him a spot among the three finalists for the 2026 Louisiana Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Achievement Award.

The winner will be announced during the 104th Annual Louisiana Farm Bureau Convention in New Orleans.
