In his conversation with RFD NEWS, Porter discussed what the recognition means to him and shared details about his operation and background in agriculture. He also spoke about the importance of helping those outside of agriculture better understand farming and the role producers play.
Porter highlighted his efforts in mentoring young cattle producers and emphasized the value of supporting the next generation and local communities. He also shared that his son has recently joined the farm full-time.
