Major League Fishing

Jacob Wall

New Hope, Alabama

Originally from Oregon, Wall qualified for the FLW Tour in 2018 and then Pro Circuit out of the Western Division in 2019, and moved to Alabama to chase a dream. Wall proved up to the task almost immediately and was one of the steadiest anglers on the Pro Circuit in his time there, twice finishing in the Top 10 in points. Living in New Hope near Lake Guntersville now, Wall is building a solid foundation in the world of professional bass fishing. He placed third at the 2022 TITLE Championship on the St. Lawrence River and second at the 2023 Bass Pro Tour event at Guntersville.

FUN FACT

Wall likes to play video games as a getaway in the time between tournaments: “I think it helps my hand/eye coordination, and it’s a nice little getaway from all the fishing!” Wall enjoys designing and making lures, and also enjoys spending time with family and friends. He and his wife, Michaella, have a Welsh Corgi named Poppy. He’s originally from Southern Oregon, which is much better known for its salmon, trout, and steelhead fishing. He says he’s “absolutely obsessed with bass fishing. When I’m not competing, I spend lots of time on the water honing my skills.”
