Saving What Saved Them: Compton Cowboys is assisting in horse evacuations amid California wildfires

Firefighters are making progress on controlling the California wildfires, which have been burning for more than a week.

The equestrian community continues to come together to help evacuate horses from impacted areas, especially with the help of Compton Cowboys, a group of cowboys and cowgirls who work with horses to provide a positive influence on inner-city youth.

Founder and CEO of Compton Cowboys, Randy Savvy, joined RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender to describe their mission, how the fires have impacted the community, and his efforts to save the working horses.
