A second U.S. dairy worker in Michigan has contracted avian flu, likely from infected cows, following a similar case in Texas.
The Michigan worker had mild symptoms and recovered, according to the state’s Department of Health and Human Services.
The CDC asserts that the public risk is low, with no human-to-human transmission observed.
