Senators are very troubled by the missing Dairy Checkoff reports on USDA’s website

Several lawmakers are calling out the USDA for missing dairy reports.

Nine senators from both sides of the political aisle wrote Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack saying the agency is at risk of eroding producers’ confidence in important ag programs. This, with the 2021 and 2022 Dairy Checkoff reports missing from USDA’s website.

It is required under the Dairy Production Stabilization Act that USDA post annual reports including Checkoff program activities and spending.
