Strong winds hindered recovery progress on Nebraska’s Road 702 Fire

Wildfires continue to plague rural Nebraska.

On social media, the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency posted that the Road 702 Fire is now 74% contained, but things picked back up last night because of strong winds.

The Agency shared this picture of National Guard helicopters, engines and local farmers working together to contain the blaze. The Agency issued warnings of wind picking up dust and ash in the area.
