GALAX, Va. (RFD News) — Blue Ridge Genetics is using virtual fencing to improve pasture management and conserve natural resources.
Deidre Tigue said the technology allows them to better manage grazing, stretch forage and adapt to dry conditions without installing additional fencing.
Tigue said virtual fencing also allows the operation to protect sensitive areas while making the most of its pastures.
